This research seeks to assess the impact of satellite TV channels on gender attitudes and sexual morality of Tehran youth. The main assumption of this study is that satellite TV channels reflect values and patterns of western societies and that gender attitudes and sexual morality are essentially liberal in those societies. The research method is survey and the total sample size is 900. The results show that satellite TV channels have a great impact on gender attitudes and sexual morality of youth .It means that, satellite TV channels spread sexual liberation as well as gender equality. But satellite TV channels prove to have the greatest effect on spreading sexual liberation than gender equality. Furthermore, more than one third of respondents have claimed that Iranian youth spend a great deal of time watching satellite TV channels.
