The research method is survey and the statistical population includes 467 people settling in the rural areas of Mazandaran province which were selected using cluster sampling method.</span><span style="font-size: small;"> The main tool for collecting  </span><span style="font-size: small;">data in this research is questionnaire.</span><span style="font-size: small;">The results indicate that there is a positive and direct relationship between social capital and environmental behavior and environmentally responsible behaviors increase with the </span><span style="font-size: small;">increase in social capital. In addition, through stepwise multiple regression analysis it confirms that social capital- as a first variable which is entered the model- has a highest correlation with the environmental behavior and the environmental attitudes- as a last variable which is entered the model- has a lowest correlation with the environmental behavior. Moreover, social capital is the most  </span><span style="font-size: small;">powerful predictor than other variables.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">چکیده</span> <br /><span style="font-size: small;">هدف اصلی این تحقیق، سنجش رفتار محیط زیستی و شناخت تأثیر سرمایه اجتماعی بر رفتارهای محیط زیستی است. روش تحقیق، در این پژوهش از نوع پیمایشی است و نمونه آماری شامل 467 نفر از افراد ساکن در مناطق روستایی استان مازندران بوده که با روش نمونه­گیری خوشه­ای چند مرحله­ای انتخاب شده­اند. ابزار اصلی جمع­آوری اطلاعات این تحقیق پرسشنامه بوده است. نتایج تحقیق حاضر، نشان می­دهد که بین سرمایه اجتماعی و رفتارهای محیط زیستی رابطه مثبت و مستقیمی وجود دارد و با افزایش سرمایه اجتماعی، رفتارهای مسئولانه محیط زیستی نیز افزایش می­یابد</span><span style="font-size: small;">. نتایج حاصل از رگرسیون چندمتغیره به روش گام به گام، نشان داده است که سرمایه اجتماعی به عنوان اولین متغیری که وارد مدل شده است، بیشترین همبستگی را </span><span style="font-size: small;">با رفتارهای زیست­محیطی دارد و</span><span style="font-size: small;">نگرش زیست­محیطی</span><span style="font-size: small;"> به­منزله آخرین متغیری که وارد مدل شده است، کم­ترین همبستگی را با رفتارهای زیست­محیطی دارد. </span><span style="font-size: small;">همچنین، متغیر سرمایه اجتماعی به نسبت دیگر متغیرها پیش­بینی­کننده قوی‌تری است.</span> https://jscd.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_4137_e867b287216ed3d14fb01a46f502bb0a.pdf
